Sales Manager – Construction Equipment

About the role

Hyundai Construction Equipment Uganda is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead business development and expand market presence across the country. The role focuses on driving sales growth, increasing market share, and building lasting customer relationships within the construction, mining and infrastructure sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and strategic accounts.
• Prospect and generate sales leads in infrastructure, construction, mining and quarrying.
• Prepare, present and negotiate commercial proposals.
• Manage the sales pipeline, maintain accurate forecasts and monitor public and private tenders.
• Support credit recovery and commercial risk management.
• Coordinate with technical and after‑sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Track market trends, competitor activity and industry developments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction equipment or heavy machinery sales.
• Strong knowledge of the Tanzanian market and key industry stakeholders.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business development.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship‑management skills.
• Results‑oriented, proactive, self‑motivated and fluent in English.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Uganda.
