Sales & Marketing Associate

About the role

The Sales & Marketing Associate will work on-site in Kampala for an insurance agency, driving lead generation, client relationship building and the execution of marketing initiatives. The role combines sales activities with marketing strategy implementation to achieve business growth and meet sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new leads through prospecting, networking and promotional events.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Implement marketing strategies, including advertising and promotional campaigns.
• Support sales efforts to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
• Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries promptly.
• Conduct training sessions for clients or team members as needed.
• Assist in organizing and executing promotional activities and events.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Proven interest or experience in sales and marketing, with a focus on achieving growth targets.
• Ability to train and guide clients or colleagues.
• Self‑motivated, result‑oriented and well‑organized with good time‑management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
• Familiarity with the advertising and promotions industry is a plus.
