Sales & Marketing Associate

About the role

The Sales & Marketing Associate is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Kampala. You will identify and engage potential clients, present agency services, and support the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client outreach and manage follow‑ups
• Prepare and deliver sales pitches
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and opportunities
• Contribute to marketing campaigns and align sales efforts with promotional activities
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging
• Provide ongoing customer support to ensure satisfaction and retention
• Participate in training sessions and share market feedback
• Help improve sales strategies over time

Required profile

• Strong communication skills for client interactions and internal collaboration
• Customer‑service orientation to build relationships and handle inquiries
• Sales and marketing aptitude to prospect, negotiate, close deals, and support campaigns
• Ability to learn and apply new sales and marketing techniques
• Relevant experience in sales, marketing, advertising or recruitment is an advantage
• Willingness to work on‑site in Kampala, manage time effectively and meet targets
• Proficiency with basic office and communication tools; familiarity with CRM platforms is beneficial
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or a related field preferred
