About the role

VAKRUM is expanding its presence in the East African market and seeks a dynamic Sales & Marketing Engineer to drive growth in the MEP, fire protection, and industrial sectors. Based in Kampala, you will combine technical expertise with commercial insight to create and nurture business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the MEP, fire protection, and industrial markets.
• Present technical solutions to prospective clients with clarity and precision.
• Maintain and grow client relationships, overseeing the project pipeline from prospect to contract.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure proposals meet international standards.

Required profile

• Technical background in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire & Safety, or Construction engineering.
• Strong commercial acumen and a results‑driven mindset.
• Commitment to professional excellence and adherence to international standards.
