Sales & Marketing Officer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales & Marketing Officer to drive product sales, expand our customer base, and increase market presence for our beverage products in Jinja and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers and sales opportunities.
• Promote and sell the company’s beverage products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, retailers, and other business partners.
• Achieve agreed sales targets and prepare regular sales reports.
• Conduct market visits to identify customer needs, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
• Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and product activations.
• Follow up on customer orders, payments, and feedback.
• Monitor product availability and visibility in the market.
• Work closely with production and distribution teams to ensure timely delivery of products.

Required profile

• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in FMCG or beverage manufacturing.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
• Good knowledge of the Jinja market and surrounding areas is an added advantage.
• Proactive, results‑oriented, and willing to conduct regular field visits.
