Sales & Marketing Representative

About the role

The Insurance Agency is seeking a full‑time Sales & Marketing Representative to work on‑site in Kampala. You will be responsible for identifying prospective clients, presenting business planning and advertising services, and closing sales to achieve revenue targets while supporting the agency’s marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and qualify leads through outreach and market research.
• Present and demonstrate the agency’s business planning and advertising solutions to potential clients.
• Negotiate terms and close sales to meet or exceed set targets.
• Support ongoing marketing campaigns and promote services across multiple channels.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and client interactions.
• Provide responsive customer service and gather market feedback.
• Deliver training sessions on the agency’s solutions and represent the brand at events and workshops.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities with a focus on building trust.
• Proven sales and marketing experience, including lead generation, negotiation and deal closure.
• Experience delivering product or service training.
• Basic understanding of business planning, advertising and business development concepts.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala, manage time effectively and meet performance targets.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing or a related field is an advantage.
