Sales Representative – Dealer Management

About the role

The Sales Representative at Watu Simu will be responsible for driving sales growth, supporting dealers, and ensuring optimal market performance across assigned routes. This role combines data analysis, dealer training, and on‑the‑ground operational support to boost revenue and maintain strong dealer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Review performance metrics, analyse data to spot trends, and identify improvement areas.
• Train and retrain dealers on products, services, software updates, onboarding processes, installment plans and loan details.
• Build trust‑based relationships with dealers and field officers, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.
• Provide ongoing operational support, resolve issues in the field and ensure route compliance.
• Submit daily activity reports covering routes visited, sales made and any challenges encountered.
• Expand store coverage by adding new local dealerships and increasing the number of stores per existing dealer each month.
• Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activity and pricing to inform strategy.
• Drive conversion of cash customers to credit through dealerships to increase revenue.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, avoiding prohibited stock sales and dealer‑to‑dealer staff poaching.
