Sales Representative (Insurance Agency)

About the role

The Insurance Agency is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Sales Representative based in Kampala. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and building lasting relationships with both prospective and existing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Present the agency’s advertising and marketing services to potential clients.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate terms to close sales.
• Maintain accurate sales records and follow up on client inquiries.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of services.
• Provide regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and performance against targets.

Required profile

• Experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in advertising, marketing, or related services.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Customer‑service mindset with a proven track record of building long‑term client relationships.
• Basic understanding of marketing and advertising concepts.
• Ability to work independently, meet sales targets, and manage time effectively.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in Kampala or familiarity with the local market is an advantage.
