Sales Representative – Insurance Agency (Kampala)

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Kampala and focuses on driving new business for an insurance agency that also offers recruitment and advertising services. The Sales Representative will act as the primary point of contact for prospective and existing clients, guiding them through the agency’s service portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the insurance, recruitment and advertising sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, conducting regular meetings and follow‑ups.
• Prepare, present and negotiate proposals, aiming to close sales and meet targets.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client expectations are clearly communicated and fulfilled.
• Represent the company professionally and ethically in all client interactions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, business development or account management, preferably within recruitment, advertising or related professional services.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to identify client needs, propose suitable solutions and manage the full sales cycle.
• Results‑oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Kampala and conduct client visits as required.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with the local labour market, recruitment processes or advertising channels in Kampala is an advantage.
