About the role

Makerere University is seeking suitably qualified applicants for the position of Second Deputy Vice Chancellor. The post reports to the Vice Chancellor and is based at Makerere University. The salary scale is M2.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Vice Chancellor in performing his or her functions.
• Oversee the finances and administration of the University.
• Be responsible for the planning and development of the University.
• Perform other functions delegated by the Vice Chancellor or assigned by the University Council.
