About the role
Acorns International School (AIS) in Kampala, Kamwokya is looking for a secondary teacher to teach all areas of the subject curriculum, prepare the classroom and support learners in achieving their educational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and implement units and lessons
- Supervise co-curricular activities
- Create meaningful assessments, provide feedback and keep records
- Communicate with parents and colleagues about student progress and the curriculum
- Collaborate as a team member and take initiative in personal professional development
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in a related or subject field
- Accredited teaching qualification
- Relevant work experience
- Experience in an international school is an added advantage
