About the role

Twelve Data is seeking a senior backend engineer to build high‑performance financial data services. You will work on systems that process terabytes of quotes daily and serve thousands of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

Design and maintain scalable backend architectures.
Develop web services and APIs that integrate with internal and external applications.
Define data models and persistence mechanisms using PostgreSQL.
Apply best‑practice development processes such as agile, code reviews, CI/CD, and automated testing.
Collaborate, mentor, and influence team members across the organization.

Required profile

Passionate about building financial products and willing to step outside comfort zones.
Proactive, quick learner with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Self‑motivated, able to work independently and within a geographically dispersed team.

Required skills

Go (Golang) development.
Docker and cloud deployment experience.
RESTful APIs, HTTPS, and web service design.
PostgreSQL and relational database fundamentals.
Unit testing and code‑quality discipline.
