Senior Full Stack Developer (React & Node.js)

About the role

Alion is looking for a senior full‑stack developer who will primarily design and build serverless backend services while delivering modern React user experiences. You will work on cloud‑native applications written in TypeScript, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to turn existing architectures into production‑ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full‑stack applications using React and Node.js.
• Build serverless services on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB) and define infrastructure with AWS CDK.
• Create and document RESTful APIs using OpenAPI specifications.
• Implement schema validation, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuously improve engineering practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience as a full‑stack developer.
• Strong backend focus with ability to understand and extend existing codebases.
• Self‑driven, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and spoken.
