Senior Marketing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist to design and execute integrated campaigns that amplify AfricaOne’s media content, digital platforms, and community initiatives. This full‑time remote position will work closely with content, product, and technology teams to ensure brand consistency and drive audience growth across the continent.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies and integrated campaigns.
• Manage social media channels, digital outreach, and online community engagement.
• Analyze performance metrics, produce reports, and optimize campaigns for higher engagement.
• Maintain marketing calendars, coordinate partnerships, and oversee promotions.
• Conduct market research, audience segmentation, and provide insights for future initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in marketing, preferably within media, technology or digital platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong project‑management abilities with a track record of meeting deadlines in a remote environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional African language skills are a plus.
• Deep understanding of African markets, youth culture, and regional diversity.
