Senior Platform, DevOps & Data Reliability Engineer

About the role

Laboremus is seeking a Senior Platform, DevOps & Data Reliability Engineer to keep its platform stable, observable, and secure. Reporting to the CTO, you will own the infrastructure, deployment pipelines, monitoring, and data reliability while minimizing avoidable downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Own cloud infrastructure, hosting environments, and CI/CD pipelines across production, staging, development, and testing.
• Ensure deployments are controlled, reversible, and well‑documented to reduce failures.
• Lead technical incident response, maintain post‑incident action items, and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage monitoring, logging, alerting, and overall observability to detect issues before they impact clients.
• Control production access, secrets management, backups, encryption, and audit logging.
• Monitor database performance, maintain backup/recovery procedures, and investigate data inconsistencies.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks to reduce manual effort.
• Collaborate with Product & Integrations Engineers, Operations, Compliance, and external security auditors.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, infrastructure, or platform operations.
• Proven track record of supporting production systems and handling incidents.
• Hands‑on experience with access control and operational security practices.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure, diagnose problems systematically, and prioritize reliability.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with developers and leadership.
• Background in fintech, SaaS, banking, identity, or other regulated environments is a strong advantage.
