Senior Sales Hunter

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Sales Hunter to join our team in Kampala. The role focuses on generating new business for our loan products, building a robust sales pipeline and closing deals to grow the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new clients across target segments.
• Conduct sales meetings, presentations and credit needs assessments.
• Recommend appropriate loan products and negotiate terms.
• Manage key account relationships and ensure smooth loan processing.
• Gather market intelligence and develop sales strategies.
• Meet and exceed sales targets and prepare regular performance reports.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven track record in sales hunting and business development, preferably in financial services or micro‑finance.
• Strong client relationship, negotiation and closing abilities.
• Experience conducting market research and creating action plans.
• Understanding of lending products and basic credit assessment principles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Organised, able to manage a pipeline and meet deadlines.
• Comfort working with targets in a fast‑paced environment.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field; certifications a plus.
• Knowledge of the Kampala market is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with CRM or sales‑tracking tools.
