Steelfloat Operator

About the role

The Steelfloat Operator will work full‑time in a hybrid setting, primarily on construction sites in Kampala, to finish and level concrete surfaces before epoxy flooring is applied. The role combines hands‑on equipment operation with coordination of site teams and basic administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain steelfloat equipment to achieve smooth, level concrete floors.
• Follow project specifications and safety standards while preparing surfaces for epoxy installation.
• Coordinate daily with site supervisors and epoxy installation teams to ensure timely progress.
• Mix and handle preparation materials, document work completed, and report any issues to project leads.

Required profile

• Strong practical experience in concrete finishing and surface preparation.
• Ability to read technical instructions, project plans and safety procedures with attention to detail.
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity for varied site conditions.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
