About the role
The Store Officer will manage the day‑to‑day operations of the store, ensuring that stock is properly received, recorded, stored and issued while maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming goods and supplies.
- Record all stock received and issued accurately.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of goods in the store.
- Monitor stock levels and identify items that need replenishment.
- Issue stock to authorized staff or departments upon request.
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory documentation.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile variances.
- Ensure the store is clean, secure and properly organized.
- Report damaged, expired, missing or low‑stock items to the supervisor.
- Assist with stock‑taking and preparation of inventory reports.
- Ensure all store transactions are properly documented.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
Required profile
- Certificate or Diploma in Stores Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration or a related field.
- Previous experience in a store, warehouse or inventory‑related role is an advantage.
- Basic computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Good record‑keeping and organizational skills.
- Honest, reliable and responsible.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
