About the role
Lilt is seeking a native Swahili female voice talent (approximately 35‑55 years old) to record natural, conversational speech for AI voice cloning and TTS projects. The work is fully remote and flexible, allowing you to record on your own schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Record high‑quality audio samples following precise technical specifications (volume, file naming, format, segment gaps).
- Maintain a natural speaking style with appropriate pauses, disfluencies, and emphasis.
- Provide demo recordings and, if required, complete a vetting test.
Required profile
- Native Swahili speaker with experience in voice acting, narration, podcasting or streaming.
- Professional home recording setup (microphone, headset/speakers, audio interface, DAW, treated quiet space).
- Ability to meet fast‑turnaround deadlines and license voice for AI training.
Required skills
- Recording software and Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) proficiency.
- Audio interface and microphone operation.
- Knowledge of audio quality standards and file formatting.
