Technical Coordinator

About the role

The Technical Coordinator will support the Technical Manager and Sales Team in delivering security system solutions to customers in Kampala. This role involves preparing quotations, managing contracts, coordinating technical documentation, and ensuring smooth service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quotations for security systems and assist in commercial proposals and technical submissions.
• Track outstanding quotations, maintain a quotation‑tracking register and follow up with customers.
• Handle customer correspondence, respond to enquiries, and escalate issues to the Technical Manager when needed.
• Prepare, process and file technical contracts, service agreements and monitor contract expiry dates.
• Coordinate invoicing for technical services, ensuring alignment with quotations, purchase orders and completed work.
• Maintain accurate records of technical equipment, stock levels, serial numbers and warranty information.
• Organise and back‑up both physical and electronic technical files, including alarm response documentation.
• Prepare work orders, job cards and track the progress of technical jobs, assisting with scheduling installations and maintenance.
• Support the Technical Manager in compiling weekly and monthly technical activity reports.
