Territory Business Executive – Kitgum

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Territory Business Executive to drive sales and market penetration for d.light SOLAR in the Kitgum region of Uganda. Based in Kamwokya, you will be responsible for creating awareness, acquiring new customers and managing a network of sales partners to achieve growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Promote d.light products and create brand awareness across the designated territory.
• Recruit, train and manage Sales & Engagement Partners to meet sales targets.
• Identify and onboard new customers, ensuring high‑quality payment performance.
• Monitor stock levels, coordinate with outlet agents and ensure product availability.
• Handle customer queries and complaints, and maintain a delinquency rate below 20%.
• Analyse market trends, competitive activities and sales data to inform strategy.
• Supervise inventory management and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years proven sales experience with a strong track record.
• Degree, diploma or certificate in a business‑related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Valid Ugandan riding licence.
• Passion for social enterprise, people development and environmental impact.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
