Territory Business Manager

About the role

The Territory Business Manager will lead Mama Talents Ltd’s growth and operations in Uganda. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for expanding the company’s presence, acquiring new clients, and delivering recruitment, talent management, media, events and business development services across the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business growth strategies, identify new opportunities and secure corporate clients for recruitment and HR consultancy services.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, conduct regular visits, negotiate agreements and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Supervise recruitment activities, oversee sourcing, interviewing and placement of candidates, and coordinate talent scouting events.
• Lead regional sales and marketing initiatives, represent the company at exhibitions, career fairs and business forums, and achieve sales targets.
• Oversee daily territory operations, ensure compliance with company policies, monitor service delivery standards and resource utilization.
• Manage and develop the regional team, set performance targets, conduct evaluations and recommend recruitment or disciplinary actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development and sales within a defined territory.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Experience supervising recruitment processes and talent management programmes.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing regional teams.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
