Digital Storytelling & Brand Officer

About the role

Amaya Energy seeks a creative and digitally‑savvy professional to shape the digital identity of its Save 80 fuel‑saving stove brand. You will combine storytelling, videography and digital marketing to produce compelling content that drives awareness and adoption across Uganda.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, shoot and edit high‑quality videos and photographs for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and other platforms.
• Create reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts and longer‑form videos, including customer testimonials, product demos and educational pieces.
• Film field activities, community engagements and events, turning real‑life experiences into engaging stories.
• Develop and maintain a weekly/monthly content calendar, publish and schedule posts, and monitor engagement metrics.
• Maintain a consistent visual identity, produce digital posters, brochures and promotional materials, and support campaign activations.

Required profile

• A degree or diploma in Digital Media, Film/TV Production, Mass Communication, Marketing, Multimedia or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in digital content creation, videography or social‑media marketing, with a strong portfolio.
• Excellent written and spoken English; willingness to travel throughout Uganda.
• Creative initiative, ability to work independently from idea through production to publication.

Required skills

• Proficiency with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or CapCut.
• Experience using Photoshop, Canva or equivalent design platforms.
