Financial Inclusion Officer – Arua

About the role

FINCA Uganda is seeking a Financial Inclusion Officer to promote its group lending products in the Arua catchment area. The role involves planning and executing sales and financial‑literacy activities, training prospective clients and supporting the branch manager to meet monthly targets.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Branch Manager to develop monthly sales and marketing plans for identified catchment locations.
• Organise and deliver three‑day training sessions for potential group‑lending customers.
• Conduct financial‑literacy workshops, explain FINCA’s self‑managed group product, and guide groups in selecting leaders and establishing governance.
• Assess group readiness for FINCA services and ensure proper record‑keeping.
• Implement action work plans, provide weekly progress updates to the Branch Manager and coordinate with the Product Associate.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business, Marketing, Education or a related field.
• Fluency in English and the local language of the operating area.
• Ability to ride a motorcycle for field visits.
• Strong sales, marketing and customer‑service orientation.
