Financial Inclusion Officer – Kamuli

About the role

FINCA Uganda is seeking a motivated Financial Inclusion Officer to drive community‑based financial services in the Kamuli catchment area. The role focuses on expanding outreach, delivering financial literacy training, and supporting group lending initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Branch Manager to develop monthly sales and marketing plans for targeted locations.
• Organise and deliver three‑day training sessions for potential group‑lending customers.
• Conduct financial literacy workshops, explain FINCA’s self‑managed group product, and guide groups in leadership selection and governance.
• Monitor group formation, cohesion, record‑keeping, and assess readiness for FINCA services.
• Implement monthly action work plans and provide weekly progress feedback to the Branch Manager.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business, Marketing, Education or a related field.
• Fluency in English and the local language of the operational area.
• Ability to ride a motorcycle for field visits.
