Gender Equality & Social Inclusion Specialist

About the role

NTU International is preparing a proposal for the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The role supports systematic integration of gender equality and social inclusion across programme activities, ensuring inclusive participation and equitable access to opportunities generated through Africa‑EU space cooperation.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate gender equality and social inclusion considerations into all programme activities, promoting inclusive participation and gender‑responsive implementation.
• Design and apply gender‑responsive approaches in donor‑funded programmes, including gender analysis, development of sex‑disaggregated indicators, facilitation of inclusive stakeholder participation, and delivery of gender‑responsive training and communication.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in gender studies, social sciences, development studies or a related field, with excellent command of English (French or Portuguese an asset).
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in gender equality, social inclusion or inclusive development in international cooperation, including at least 4 years designing gender‑responsive approaches for donor‑funded programmes.
