iHRIS Specialist – Data-Activated Architecture for Resilient Transition (DART)

About the role

The iHRIS Specialist will support Uganda’s Ministry of Health in enhancing the usability, reliability and institutional ownership of the iHRIS platform as part of the Data‑Activated Architecture for Resilient Transition (DART) project. Working closely with HRH teams, the Directorate of Health Informatics, sub‑national users and technical partners, the role ensures a smooth hand‑over of the system to government ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Strengthen the usability and reliability of the iHRIS system for Ministry of Health staff.
• Facilitate institutional ownership and plan the hand‑over of iHRIS to Ugandan authorities.
• Collaborate with HRH teams, DHI, sub‑national users, system administrators and technical partners.
• Support integration of iHRIS with other digital health components such as EMR, National Data Warehouse and Health Information Exchange.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 5 years of experience in human resources information systems.
• Demonstrated experience working with health ministries or large‑scale digital health initiatives.
• Proven ability to work with multi‑disciplinary teams and government stakeholders.
