Manager Business Planning and Analysis

About the role

Finance Trust Bank is looking for a Manager Business Planning and Analysis to lead budgeting, financial planning, management reporting and performance analysis. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role provides financial insights that support strategic decisions and cost optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reports, including balance‑sheet, profit & loss, variance, trend and ratio analysis.
• Produce monthly Board Finance reports and branch performance reports.
• Analyse financial and business performance indicators to aid strategic decision‑making.
• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and conduct product costing and pricing analysis.
• Carry out project evaluation, appraisal and revenue assurance to prevent leakages.
• Coordinate the preparation, monitoring and control of annual operational and capital budgets.
• Monitor budget implementation, prepare variance reports and lead periodic budget reviews for management and the Board.
• Supervise senior accountants and accountants, and authorize core banking and RTGS transactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting) or related field, with professional qualification such as ACCA or CPA.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience in a reputable organisation.
• Strong analytical, decision‑making and communication skills, with high integrity and ability to work independently.
