Mechatronics Engineer

About the role

The Mechatronics Engineer will design, program, integrate and maintain automated and instrumented systems for TERYA's construction and infrastructure projects. This position bridges electrical, mechanical and software domains, ensuring that modern facilities operate safely, efficiently and with full visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop PLC and SCADA programs to meet client specifications.
• Design and fabricate control panels, instrumentation, drives and motion‑control systems.
• Implement pneumatics, hydraulics and industrial networking solutions.
• Integrate embedded monitoring for smart infrastructure.
• Translate client requirements into control philosophies, build and test logic, and commission systems on site.
• Provide training to end‑users and support post‑commissioning activities.
• Collaborate closely with electrical, energy and civil delivery teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in mechatronics, automation or related engineering fields.
• Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a comparable discipline.
• Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail.
