Patient Acquisition & Community Outreach Officer

About the role

The Patient Acquisition & Community Outreach Officer will drive growth for Khabusi Vision Care by raising awareness of eye‑care services and converting community interest into clinic appointments. This full‑time position blends marketing, relationship building and on‑the‑ground outreach to expand the patient base.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute strategies to attract new patients to the clinic.
• Visit schools, companies, churches, SACCOs, NGOs, pharmacies and supermarkets to forge partnerships and promote services.
• Organise community eye‑screening events and awareness campaigns.
• Develop and maintain referral relationships with healthcare providers and other strategic partners.
• Manage the clinic’s presence on Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, WhatsApp and Google Business Profile, creating engaging eye‑health content.
• Respond promptly to enquiries, converting prospects into appointments.
• Distribute promotional materials and represent the clinic at community events.
• Encourage satisfied patients to leave online reviews and refer friends and family.
• Prepare regular reports on outreach activities, leads generated, appointments booked and overall marketing performance.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, Sales or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Confidence in approaching individuals and organisations.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency with social media platforms: Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, WhatsApp, Google Business Profile.
• Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
