Patrol Boat Operator

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Patrol Boat Operator to support a US Navy program. The role involves safe operation of patrol boats, monitoring watercraft, and conducting rescue missions in the designated maritime area.

Key responsibilities

• Operate patrol boats to verify craft status and ensure all vessels are accounted for.
• Conduct regular patrols, monitor personnel aboard watercraft, and maintain visual checks for anomalies.
• Record and log verifications, personnel counts, and incidents according to NAVSUPPFACDGINST 3130.3 series.
• Prepare accurate activity reports, including observations and rescue operations.
• Initiate and execute rescue operations following Navy protocols.
• Coordinate with rescue and support teams during emergencies.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of patrol boat equipment.
• Adhere to all safety and operational procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience operating small boats or watercraft in patrol, security, or rescue roles.
• Physical fitness to manage emergency or rescue operations.
• Ability to read, speak, and comprehend English for contract requirements.
• Valid passport with at least one year remaining.
