About the role

We are looking for a reliable, safety‑oriented driver to join our team in Kampala. The role involves transporting passengers or goods safely, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport passengers or deliverables in a timely manner.
• Plan optimal routes using GPS navigation to avoid delays and traffic congestion.
• Perform routine daily pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections, checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and brakes.
• Maintain accurate mileage logs, fuel receipts, and delivery documentation.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, well‑maintained, and regularly serviced.
• Comply strictly with all local traffic laws, safety protocols, and operational guidelines.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a professional driver or courier (minimum 5 years).
• Familiarity with local routes, traffic laws, and GPS navigation systems.
• Excellent time‑management, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
