Sales Agent – Insurance Agency (Kampala)

About the role

The Insurance Agency is seeking a full‑time Sales Agent to work on‑site in Kampala. You will be responsible for identifying prospective clients, presenting our insurance services, and creating tailored proposals that meet their marketing and advertising needs.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, approach, and qualify new clients.
• Present agency services and develop customized proposals.
• Manage the sales pipeline, follow up on leads, and schedule meetings.
• Conduct presentations, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with the account‑management team.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM tools and collaborate with creative and strategy teams.
• Provide ongoing customer service to nurture long‑term relationships.
• Participate in training sessions, market research, and internal reviews.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication with effective presentation abilities.
• Proven customer‑service experience focused on building trust.
• Demonstrated sales experience, preferably in advertising, marketing or related services.
• Background in insurance or consultative selling is an advantage.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• Ability to work on‑site, manage multiple opportunities and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced agency environment.

Required skills

• Basic digital tools and office productivity applications.
• Familiarity with CRM software.
