Senior Healthcare Partnerships & Business Development Manager

About the role

MR Health is seeking a senior professional to lead the expansion of its diagnostic partnership network across Kampala. This role focuses on building strategic relationships with pharmacies, clinics, hospitals, and corporate clients to generate a steady flow of diagnostic bookings.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and onboard high‑traffic pharmacies, presenting the MR Health partnership programme.
• Negotiate referral agreements and coordinate the placement of MR Health branding and QR codes at partner locations.
• Develop relationships with private clinics, medical centres, and hospitals lacking in‑house diagnostic labs, securing long‑term referral contracts.
• Target corporate clients to establish employee wellness and health‑screening programmes, delivering recurring diagnostic volume.
• Maintain ongoing engagement with existing partners, uncovering new business opportunities within the healthcare ecosystem.
• Provide market intelligence and competitor insights to inform strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare sales, business development, or medical diagnostics.
• Established network of contacts across Kampala’s pharmacy, clinic, hospital, and corporate sectors.
• Proven track record of negotiating and managing partnership agreements.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
