Business Development & Marketing Coordinator (HR Services)

About the role

The Business Development & Marketing Coordinator will support HRLeverage’s growth across Uganda and the wider East African market. Working from the Kampala office, you will generate leads, build client relationships and promote a portfolio of HR outsourcing, recruitment, payroll, EOR, immigration and workforce solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within corporations, NGOs, startups and government agencies.
• Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach and attendance at business events.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations and service demonstrations; prepare proposals, quotations and service agreements.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline using the company CRM and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.
• Coordinate marketing campaigns, manage social‑media channels and create digital content such as newsletters, blogs and brochures.
• Support the organisation of exhibitions, career fairs, webinars and other client‑engagement initiatives.
• Perform market research, monitor competitors and identify partnership opportunities.
• Provide professional customer service and ensure accurate CRM record‑keeping.

Required profile

• Motivated individual with strong sales, networking and marketing capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with internal teams.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets is a plus.
