Insurance Salesperson – Kampala

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Kampala and reports to the Insurance Agency Manager. The Salesperson will drive new business, nurture client relationships and ensure the agency meets its sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue sales opportunities within the insurance market.
• Present and promote the agency’s services to prospective and existing clients.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to implement effective sales strategies.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform sales tactics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to build and sustain long‑term client relationships.
• Understanding of advertising, marketing and promotion strategies.
• Goal‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and capable of working independently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field is a plus.
• Prior experience in the advertising or marketing industry is an advantage.
