About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, self‑motivated Field Sales & Marketing Executive to generate leads, build strong customer relationships, and drive sales growth for agricultural equipment and generators across assigned territories in Uganda.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct regular field visits to industries, farmers, dealers, and institutional customers to generate leads and close sales.
  • Educate customers on features, benefits, and applications of agricultural equipment, machinery, and generators.
  • Demonstrate products in the field and advise on best operational practices.
  • Gather market intelligence, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Update daily sales activities, customer visits, and lead details in the Odoo CRM system.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to regional business growth.
  • Participate in exhibitions, fairs, and local promotional activities as required.
  • Coordinate with logistics, service, and internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Mechanical Engineering, Agribusiness, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in field sales, preferably in agriculture, equipment, machinery, or generator sectors.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Basic technical proficiency with smartphones and mobile applications.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across rural, semi‑urban, and urban areas in Uganda.
  • Self‑driven, target‑oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.

Required skills

  • Familiarity with Odoo CRM (or similar CRM tools).
  • Competence in using smartphones and mobile applications for business tasks.
