About the role
The Financial Inclusion Officer will work in the Mbarara catchment area to promote FINCA Uganda’s group lending products. The role involves community outreach, sales drives, and financial literacy training to expand access to micro‑finance services.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Branch Manager to develop monthly sales and marketing plans for identified communities.
- Organise and deliver group training sessions on financial literacy and FINCA’s self‑managed group product methodology.
- Guide groups in selecting leaders, establishing governance principles, and maintaining accurate records.
- Assess group readiness for FINCA financial services and track progress against targets.
- Provide weekly feedback on action plans to the Branch Manager and coordinate with the Product Associate.
Required profile
- Diploma in Business, Marketing, Education or a related field.
- Fluency in English and the local language of the operating area.
- Ability to ride a motorcycle for field visits.
