Financial Inclusion Officer – Mukono

About the role

The Financial Inclusion Officer will work in the Mukono catch‑area to promote FINCA Uganda’s group‑lending products. The role combines field sales, community outreach and financial‑literacy training to expand access to micro‑finance services.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Branch Manager to design monthly sales and marketing plans for targeted communities.
• Organise and lead door‑to‑door campaigns, community sales drives and focus‑group discussions.
• Prepare and deliver three‑day training sessions on group‑lending products for potential customers.
• Conduct financial‑literacy workshops, guide groups in selecting leaders and applying governance principles.
• Assess group readiness for FINCA services and maintain accurate records.
• Implement monthly action plans and provide weekly progress feedback to the Branch Manager.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business, Marketing, Education or a related field.
• Fluency in English and the local language of the operating area.
• Ability to ride a motorcycle for field visits.
• Strong sales, marketing and customer‑service orientation.
• Good interpersonal, problem‑solving, time‑management and communication skills.
