Grade 3 Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Grade 3 Teacher to join Nsimbi Education Centre, a growing day and boarding school in Ssisa Subcounty, Wakiso District. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons across all primary subjects and help shape confident, character‑strong learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons for all primary subjects at Grade 3 level.
• Create an inclusive, stimulating classroom environment.
• Assess learner progress, provide feedback and support individual needs.
• Promote discipline, good character and positive values.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership.
• Participate in co‑curricular activities and school programs.

Required profile

• Professional teaching qualification (mandatory).
• Diploma in Primary Education (preferred).
• Minimum three years of primary‑school teaching experience.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for working with young learners and supporting all‑round development.
• Knowledge of the Ugandan education system and UNEB requirements.
• High integrity, professionalism and a positive attitude.
