Graduate Trainee, Global Markets

About the role

We are looking for a Graduate Trainee to support our Global Markets trading, sales and structuring teams. The role offers exposure to market analysis, pricing, trade execution and risk management while you develop technical and market expertise under supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse market developments, trends and economic indicators to provide insights for trading and client engagement.
• Assist in pricing, structuring and valuation of financial instruments, ensuring accuracy and alignment with market movements.
• Support trade execution and lifecycle management, including trade capture, validation, reconciliation and reporting.
• Develop an understanding of trading risks and risk‑management frameworks to aid monitoring and decision‑making.
• Collaborate with trading, sales and structuring teams to deliver client‑focused solutions.

Required profile

• First degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Technology, Statistics or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum CGPA of 4.0 (or equivalent) with strong academic performance.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving capability.
• Strong recommendations from the Dean’s Office or academic faculty (advantageous).

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Excel.
• Exposure to programming or data tools such as Python or SQL (advantageous).
• Quantitative and data analysis capability.
