Head of Operations – Interior Architecture

About the role

LANA is seeking a Head of Operations to lead the day‑to‑day execution of interior architecture projects. The role bridges creative vision with operational efficiency, ensuring projects move from concept to completion on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee multiple interior architecture projects simultaneously, from design development through handover.
• Develop and manage project schedules, work plans, and delivery timelines.
• Monitor budgets, control costs, and allocate resources effectively.
• Coordinate interior architects, designers, contractors, and external consultants; assign tasks, track progress, and resolve workflow issues.
• Mentor junior team members on operational and technical standards.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and firm drawings for accuracy and constructability.
• Ensure smooth transition from concept design to technical documentation and site execution.
• Oversee material selection, procurement schedules, and supplier coordination; evaluate supplier performance.
• Conduct site visits to monitor quality, progress, and compliance with drawings; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Act as primary operational contact for clients, providing regular updates and managing expectations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing interior architecture or design‑focused construction projects.
• Strong leadership and team‑coordination abilities.
• Excellent understanding of design intent, technical standards, budgeting, procurement, and site execution.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on quality and risk mitigation.
