About the role
We are seeking a Lab Technician to support the Embedded Systems Laboratory at our university. The role involves assisting students and faculty during lab sessions, maintaining hardware and software resources, and ensuring a safe and functional lab environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support lab experiments and student projects.
- Set up, configure, and maintain lab equipment and development kits.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to embedded systems.
- Maintain lab inventory, records, and documentation.
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to proper lab practices.
Required profile
- Diploma, B.E. or B.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Embedded Systems or Instrumentation.
- M.Tech or certification in IoT/Robotics is preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in embedded systems or electronics laboratories.
- Experience in hardware troubleshooting and academic or R&D lab support.
Required skills
- Microcontrollers: Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, STM32, ARM Cortex.
- Programming languages: Embedded C and basic Python.
- Electronics: circuit debugging, PCB soldering, sensor interfacing.
- Familiarity with basic lab instruments and power supplies.
