About the role
We are seeking an experienced Mini Mart/Shop Supervisor to manage daily operations at a fuel station retail outlet in Kampala. The role focuses on driving sales, maintaining profitability, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast‑moving environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily shop operations and supervise staff.
- Drive sales through effective merchandising and strategic product placement.
- Maintain accurate pricing, stock levels and implement FIFO stock rotation.
- Monitor fast‑moving items to prevent stock‑outs.
- Manage supplier relationships, purchasing, and deliveries.
- Minimize losses due to theft, expiries, or damage.
- Ensure clean, attractive, and well‑organized product displays.
- Conduct daily sales and stock reconciliation.
- Track product pricing and profitability.
Required profile
- Minimum 12 months experience in retail, mini‑mart, supermarket or similar operations.
- Strong stock management, sales and merchandising capabilities.
- Proven ability to supervise a team and provide high‑quality customer service.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
