About the role
We are seeking a results‑driven Regional Sales Representative to develop B2B sourcing and partnership opportunities across Uganda, Tanzania or Nigeria. The role is field‑based and reports to the Sales Head and CEO, focusing on large‑scale importers, distributors and manufacturers.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, map and approach major local importers, wholesalers and manufacturers requiring reliable Far‑East supply chains.
- Pitch OEM capabilities, tailored sourcing solutions, competitive pricing and quality assurance to prospective B2B clients.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline across industrial raw materials, construction materials, home appliances and promotional goods.
- Convert prospects into long‑term partners by understanding procurement needs and matching them with the supplier network.
- Negotiate pricing, trade terms and contracts to secure high‑volume, profitable deals.
- Serve as the primary local point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Gather market intelligence on demand, competitor pricing and import trends to guide sourcing strategy.
- Coordinate with sourcing, logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment, managing lead times, shipping schedules and documentation.
Required profile
- 3–7 years of B2B sales experience in international trading, export/import or sourcing representation.
- Proven track record selling to large importers, distributors or manufacturers in Uganda, Tanzania or Nigeria.
- Experience in at least one of the following product categories: small home appliances, gift & promotional products, raw materials for mattress industries, building & construction materials, footwear molds & machinery, office & home furniture.
- Strong knowledge of local market demands, procurement processes and import regulations.
