Retail Salesperson – Customer‑Focused Sales Rep

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Retail Salesperson to join Kafkas Limited in Kampala. The role involves delivering excellent customer service, driving sales of home appliances and furniture, and ensuring the showroom is always clean, organized, and presentable.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers entering the showroom.
• Provide accurate information on product features, pricing, and after‑sales services.
• Sell products, receive payments, place customer orders, and schedule deliveries.
• Inform customers about discounts, promotions, and special offers.
• Prepare quotations, invoices, and other sales documents.
• Compile and report daily sales figures.
• Follow up with potential and existing clients via calls and emails.
• Maintain strong client relationships and pursue new sales opportunities.
• Keep client records up to date and follow up on payments.
• Prepare reports for sales analysis.
• Ensure the showroom is tidy, well‑arranged, and visually appealing.
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries and resolve complaints regarding damaged or incorrect deliveries.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Computer knowledge and proficiency.
• Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience, preferably in home appliances and furniture.
