Senior Data Officer – Ethiopia Mission (Kampala/Remote)

About the role

IMPACT Initiatives is seeking a Senior Data Officer to support its Ethiopia mission. The role is based in Kampala, Uganda, with remote work options and occasional travel to Addis Ababa. The contract is for six months with a possible extension.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical data support to the Ethiopia mission’s Sectoral Unit, Inter‑sectoral Unit and PAND teams.
• Collect, manage and analyse data sets relevant to humanitarian response in Ethiopia.
• Support the production of information products, dashboards and maps for decision‑making.
• Coordinate with field partners and ensure data quality and consistency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data collection, management and analysis within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Ability to work remotely and travel to Ethiopia as needed.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Willingness to commit to a six‑month fixed‑term contract.
