Sonographer – Part‑time Ultrasound Specialist

About the role
We are seeking a part‑time Sonographer to join our healthcare team in Kamwokya, Kampala. You will provide high‑quality ultrasound services while ensuring patients feel comfortable and well‑informed throughout the procedure.
Key responsibilities
- Explain ultrasound procedures to patients to ease anxiety.
- Calibrate, maintain, and operate all ultrasound equipment.
- Perform ultrasounds on an average of 10‑15 patients per day.
- Capture sonogram still images and video for physicians and patients.
- Notify physicians immediately of any abnormalities or concerns.
- Chart ultrasound results when required.
- Arrive on time for the 8 AM opening and manage patient scheduling.
Required profile
- Mid‑level qualification with at least 12 months of relevant experience.
- Ability to work part‑time hours and adhere to clinic schedules.
Required skills
- Ultrasound equipment operation and calibration.
- Image acquisition (still images and video) using sonography devices.
