Systems Administrator

About the role

The Systems Administrator will ensure the effective management, availability, security and performance of Zakom Tech’s network and IT infrastructure. Reporting to the Product Head and dotted‑line to the COO, you will oversee network monitoring, troubleshooting, security controls and vendor relationships to support reliable service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, maintain and optimise the company’s wired and wireless network infrastructure, including ISP and hotspot services.
• Monitor network performance and system availability, conduct root‑cause analysis and resolve faults promptly.
• Implement and maintain network and system security controls, monitor for vulnerabilities and respond to incidents.
• Ensure regular backups, access controls and protection measures are in place.
• Coordinate with technology vendors and service providers, monitor service delivery and manage technical support.
• Document network configurations, perform regular assessments and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with at least 36 months of experience in network administration.
• Proven ability to manage both wired and wireless networking environments.
• Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting and securing IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with vendor management and service provider coordination.
