Vaccines Development & Manufacturing Expert

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified expert to lead vaccine research, development and manufacturing activities. The role bridges cutting‑edge R&D with large‑scale production, ensuring that innovative vaccine candidates move efficiently from the lab to commercial manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead vaccine R&D projects from concept through product design and optimization.
• Develop and scale upstream and downstream bioprocesses for vaccine production.
• Manage technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing sites, including protocol preparation and equipment qualification.
• Oversee manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with GMP, GDP and regulatory standards.
• Monitor process performance, drive continuous improvement, and support validation and qualification activities.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure successful implementation of new technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) or advanced degree (MSc, PhD) in Vaccinology, Biotechnology, Virology, Immunology, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bioprocess Engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated industry experience in vaccine development, production or related biologics.
• Strong understanding of GMP‑regulated vaccine manufacturing and regulatory requirements.
